  •  NOW ENROLLING FOR  2011.  It is not too late to register for classes.  We are offering Ballet for students of all ages.  See our Class Offerings for days and times.  We also accept requests to accommodate small group and  private lessons.  We are also offering enrollment for piano lessons.  Our vocal lessons are available upon request and we ask that if you are interested that you place your name on our waiting list as students are accepted on a first come first serve basis.  PLEASE SUBMIT A REGISTRATION FORM VIA EMAIL TO lisa@inhisstepsballet.com to reserve your place in class.  
  • PERFORMING ARTS COMPANY - In His Steps Ballet has developed the first performing arts company for the Cambridge area. We are pleased to introduce "In His Steps Ballet & performing arts company" (a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 2009).   • MUSICAL BALLET - We recently enjoyed donating the performance of "Beautiful Imperfection," an original musical ballet written by Robyn Fixell and Lisa McKinnis to FishHouse Church in Cambridge, MN on August 27th. The musical highlights all of our students' talents in drama, music, and dance.  Thank you Fish House for having us!  While we have finished performing "Beautiful Imperfection" Musical Ballet we are available to perform small group dance performances upon request.  We have performed for womens' retreats, church services, and community events. Our students love to perform - so give us a call at 612-991-9556.  

While we focus on ballet as our primary form of instruction we also offer tap, jazz, boy's only class, piano, violin, guitar, art, drama, and vocal instruction. We provide instruction for students ages 3 1/2 (preschool) through adults.

- ministry inspired and founded in 2002 -    

Lisa has a passion for dance and especially enjoys choreography that is central to her faith. Lisa’s dance training began in St. Paul, MN and includes ballet, stage dance, dance line, as well as jazz, tap, modern, hip hop and break dancing. Lisa earned talent awards, participated in the Miss America Scholarship Program at the state level, has performed with the Inver Hills  Community College theater, and earned the Championship award with the Minnesota State Danceline Association.
Teaching Balance, Nice Lines, and Body Mechanics
Lisa has a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership and an undergraduate degree in Organizational Studies from Bethel University
